Anger + Stress Management Therapy Panel

The grooming industry asks a lot from the people who within it: physically, mentally, emotionally, and ethically. Between difficult animals, high client expectations, physical and mental fatigue, financial pressure, isolation, burn out, and the constant demand to do the most for the least, many professionals are operating closer to their breaking point than they realize. 

The Arizona Professional Groomers Guild invites you to join us as well as a licensed psychologist Dr. Mandigo, as she creates a space for an honest and necessary conversation about anger, stress, emotional regulation, and the warning signs that happen long before someone reacts in a way that causes harm. 

Together, we will explore what brings professionals to those breaking points, where violence and abuse begin, and how we can start addressing the patterns, pressures, and lack of support that allow them to continue within our industry. 

Attendees (both physical and virtual) will have the opportunity to ask questions, gain insight, and better understand how stress impacts decision making, patience, safety, and professional conduct. This conversation is not about making excuses for harmful behavior. It is about prevention, accountability, and learning how to grow forward in a healthier industry. 

The goal is simple but necessary: to help groomers recognize stress before it becomes dangerous, seek support before they reach a breaking point, and create a professional culture where compassion extends to he animals in our care, our clients, and most importantly, ourselves.
